Wizeline Appoints Luis Andrés Hernández Canto as Managing Director, Latin America


San Francisco, November 18, 2020 Wizeline, a fast-growing global technology company focused on software design and development services, today announced that Luis Andrés Hernández Canto has joined the company as Managing Director of Latin America. Luis Andrés brings more than two decades of commercial experience to Wizeline, where he will be focused on expanding operations and accelerating growth in the region. He will be based in Wizeline’s Mexico City office.

Prior to joining Wizeline, Luis Andrés served as Vice President of Sales for Latin America at Xertica, where he led Colombian and Peruvian sales teams to drive 50% year-over-year growth. In 2015, he joined H&V Consulting Group focused on helping companies to create their commercial sales strategies. Luis Andrés then joined Cognitiva as an Industry Director, where he consulted with companies on how to best deploy disruptive technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cognitive computing to drive better business outcomes. He previously served as Regional Sales Director at Dell Software. During his tenure, he led the company’s Ethics Committee and earned two prestigious sales awards, delivered by Michael Dell. Luis Andrés also spent 15 years at Microsoft in various sales leadership positions. He was a key contributor to positioning Microsoft in the enterprise space within Mexico and Colombia, having closed a $150M USD deal with the Mexican government, among other key wins.
