Mexico will have the first Generative AI Lab in Latin America

October 12, 2023 – Mexico will be the first country in Latin America with a generative artificial intelligence laboratory to develop technologies, services and products applicable to all economic sectors, the U.S. technology company Wizeline said Wednesday.

Bismarck Lepe, founder and CEO of Wizeline, told EFE that they will invest 9 million pesos (about 470,817 euros) in the construction of this laboratory known as G.AI.L (Generative AI Lab), which will start in 2024 on the Guadalajara campus of the Tecnológico de Monterrey University.
